Cucumis sativus
This German heirloom is a prolific producer of deliciously crunchy cucumbers that grow 10-15 cm in length. Fruits are green with little bumps on the skin and black spines. Best picked at 10 cm for gherkins/pickles. However, if one is missed, it makes a delicious addition to salads or sandwiches.
