Chamaemeleum nobile
Roman Chamomile is the low growing chamomile used to create herb lawns and with its lovely daisy like flowers is a welcome addition in the herb garden, your flower garden or even sprinkled into a mixed lawn. It does not do that well in very hot climates and much prefers cooler growing conditions. Mostly used as chamomile tea, well known for its calming effects.
