Brassica rapa
These extraordinary, deep-red, oval leaves have a mild flavour – they are superb raw in salads and also keep their beautiful colour once cooked. This variety is a popular cut-and-come-again leafy salad green.
If left to grow a little longer, they produce beautiful, semi-heading rosettes. The mature leaves add a deeper, more pungent flavour to soups and stir-fries.
Can be harvested at baby-leaf stage from 25 days and 45 days for fully grown leaves.
A great variety for container gardening.
