The idea behind the Livingseeds Seed Swap & Plant share is exactly that, to swap and share seeds and plant material between like-minded gardeners.

As gardeners we are constantly collecting new seeds and new plants. Often we are over-run with seeds that we are unable to grow ourselves. Or we are just inveterate seed collectors that always have more seeds and varieties than we actually need. On the plant side, well grown plants need to be divided and this often leads to having material that needs to go somewhere... there is no better place than giving it to another avid gardener.

Swapping and Sharing is the perfect way to ensure that the varieties are kept alive and continue to provide for generations to come.

Livingseeds has a long history of teaching people how to save their own seed for future use, this seed and plant swap is a natural progression from teaching people how to save their own seed, to them now being able to share their own saved seed and plants with fellow gardeners.

Join us on Livingseeds Farm, bring your seeds, rooted cuttings, seedlings and plants and come and share.

Meet fellow gardeners and put voices to faces from Livingseeds Veggie Gardeners.

Livingseeds will put up a dedicated Seed Swap area where people can come and exchange, meet, greet and chat to their hearts delight.

Any plant material, edible, flowers, trees, herbs, shrubs and naturally seed can be swapped at the event.
If you want you can even bring extras to give away.

Livingseeds will be sponsoring 100 comfrey plants to the first 100 cars that drive through the gate on the 2nd of September. Valued at R100 each.

The only stipulation is that there are no sales of seed or plant material.

Please note that Livingseeds is a non smoking/vaping farm, no tobacco products allowed.
