Pisum sativum

A mangetout variety with deeply coloured flat purple pods which wil be a stunning plant to any vegetable garden.

The pods are usually eaten before they start swelling and forming actual peas inside them. To keep the colour, the pods are best used raw, as cooking then changes the  purple to green.

Plants grow to approx 100cms tall and require trellising.

This variety is resistant to powdery and downy mildew.

Standard packet contains approx 25 seeds

Petite packet contains approx 10 seeds

Using Peaflo-Rhizobium bacteria when planting your pea seed is the most cost effective way of putting nitrogen fixing bacteria into your soil, creating healthier soil for a more productive harvest.
