An outstanding African Heirloom pole bean variety, the preferred dry bean in Zambia, and the standard that all other regional dry beans are compared to. When freshly harvested these beans have a beautiful light purple speckling that really sets it apart.
It is so well known, that buyers from Malawi drive through to the copperbelt in Zambia to buy 50 kg bags of these dry beans to then export back to Malawi.
