Daucus carota

Also known as James Scarlet, this rare and lovely, bright orange carrot was developed in France. The French seed company Vilmorin, mentioned this variety in 1885, where it had already been grown for a long time. This heirloom is loved by many growers. St Valery is very productive and is an excellent variety to store for winter. It is also a good juicing carrot and has a sweet flavour, and a crisp yet tender texture.

Ready to harvest in 70 days.
