Urtica dioica
The name says it all. Amazing hollow hairs that become hypodermic needles injecting a cocktail of irritants into your skin. Also used as a food, (boiling removes the hairs and the chemicals) my advice would be to do some research before you grow this herb. It is a fascinating ancient herb that has abundant uses, as food, medication and in folk lore.
