Cucumis sativus

An Asian heirloom of long, mild, crisp, and sweet burpless cucumbers. The dark green, ribbed fruits can grow up to 45 cm in length and can grow twisty and curvy if not trellised.

The skin of the young cucumbers has small soft spikes that are easily removed with a gentle rub. They are often enjoyed raw, pickled or pureed.

Standard packet contains approx. 15 seeds

Petite packet contains approx. 5 seeds

This cucumber should really be more famous. After living in asia for a few years i was really excited to see these seeds available. I can confirm that they are NEVER bitter (even the one or two who had a later harvest due to crafty camouflage). Fantastic crunch, thin skin and always sweet. My garden is plagued by mildew and even those these guys are not immune, they just do not stop growing and producing.

Super cuke, 2018/2019 season was terrible for cukes no let up from extremely hot weather here in Steynsburg Eastern Cape. Planted 7 varieties and ONLY the SUYO LONG and another Asian cuke AONAGA SHIBAI stood up to heat .and are producing fabulous cukes ,absolutely no bitterness and crisp, juice and small seeded and plants are strong . only going for Asian varieties now as all my others did not hold up to that heat
