Foeniculum vulgare

A Mediterranean culinary herb. Fennel is one of those herbs that once you start using it, you can’t do without it. Used in baking, salads, pickles, stews curries, etc. It can be used in almost every dish. Like its cousin dill, the whole plant is edible. Sweet Fennel also makes a pretty show in the garden when it produces its particularly beautiful filigree flowers. This variety grows to approximately 150cm in height.
