An internationally recognised, early, sweet onion that was developed in Texas in the early 1940's. This is the onion that has set the standard for many years with good yields and early maturity. It is best to plant these onions in late summer or early spring for the best yields. It is a short day length variety that will perform very well in the northern half of the country.
