Solanum lycopersicum
Will the real Mortgage Lifter please stand up…
There are a number of Mortgage Lifter strains and this one seems to be the oldest of the lot. These beefsteaks can be traced back to around 1922 in West Virginia, USA. The story goes that William Estler's success in selling these tomatoes enabled him to pay off his home mortgage within a few years.
Mortgage Lifter is renowned for its unique, delicious flavour and impressive size, with some weighing up to 900g. We find the flavour of this one better than the Radiator Charlie strain yet not as prolific (however, your mileage may vary).
Ready for harvest in 90 days after transplant.
Standard packet contains approx. 10 seeds
