An extremely productive heirloom tomato from the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Eastern US. A potato-leaf variety with strong vines that produce large, 500-600g, dark pink, beefsteak-type tomatoes.

The meaty, well-balanced, flavourful flesh is exceptional for raw eating, on sandwiches, and in salads, and also for use in sauces and salsas.

This variety produces very well over a wide range of climates, handling higher heat and cooler conditions equally well.  A great variety to grow in humid conditions where powdery mildew/fungal diseases are prevalent.

Ready for harvest in 90 days after transplant.
