Phaseolus vulgaris
Developed and released in 1950 by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and an All American Selection in the same year. An Heirloom variety that is a high yielding producer of long, straight, smooth, stringless, tender and crisp meaty pods. The low maintenance bushes produce pods higher on the plant. A superb variety for freezing and canning, retaining its colour and flavour.
