Cucurbita maxima
Oh, we are very excited about this new pumpkin variety. This pumpkin is also known as the triangle pumpkin, tristar and shamrock. It is a rare, unusual and unique blue skinned squash with 3 deep triangular lobes that originates from Australia. The orange flesh of this pumpkin is very sugary and dense, yet succulent and sweet. The skin is extremely hard and there is a very small or no seed cavity, thus that is why it is a rare pumpkin. Its grows for about 110 days before it can be harvested. The flesh of this pumpkin can be used for additions in just about anything, from pumpkin pie to muffins, curries and soups.
