Unhinged! Currently the world’s hottest open-pollinated chilli, with the fruits of some plants ranking at over 2 000 000 SHU. Endemic to Moruga, Trinidad and Tobago, this chilli has a medium-fast build-up of absurd heat.
A long-season chilli – if started early in August, you will get fruit in April/May the following year.
Not a prolific producer of fruit or seed. Needs a germination temperature of >24°C.
