Capsicum pubescens

Very rare and not often available, the tropical Red and Orange C.pubescens are a real treasure. Not often available for sale as they are generally advised for experts only. These guys prefer cooler temperatures and a long season. The growth habit is tall, with a distinctly darker hairy leaf. The seeds of this unique pepper are black. What sets these guys apart is that they have a unique capsicanoid called dihydrocapsaicin that give a unique flavour and burn.
