Now here's a rare heirloom paste tomato for those of you who do a lot of processing. As a very large, meaty, and flavoursome fruit, this will be a hit for you as a home tomato processor.

This is a generous producer – some fruits get to 500g, so well worth planting. Carol Chykos BP gives you plenty of meat to work with and minimal juice to cook off.

Agree with Boo Prince ,exactly the same problem ,dont think i will grow again.

I was really excited about trying this variety and I'm sad to say I was totally disappointed. The plants took forever to grow, remained small and pathetic and the fruit was some of the most unimpressive I've ever had the misfortune to cultivate. I am an avid tomato grower and usually plant about 6-8 varieties each year in large quantity to supply me and my family with tomatoes for the whole year. Carol Chykos will never disgrace my beds again. There are so many super, productive, tasty and easy varieties available on this site - give this one a miss and try something else. Sorry...
