Solanum lycopersicum
The mysterious tomato that'll keep you guessing! Originally known as "Zagadka Prirody" (meaning "mystery of nature"), this Russian bi-coloured slicer is unlike any other – creamy, sweet, slightly fruity, and milder than most, making it the perfect tomato for those who prefer low-acid fruits.
This medium-to-large beefsteak is great for sandwiches, as it has a smooth texture, few seeds, and is meaty. Weighing in at around 300g, the fruit is irregularly shaped, most often with curved shoulders, and the skin is a mixture of orange-yellow veiled with pink, becoming red when ripe. Slice into the thick flesh to discover beautiful marbling.
The hardy vine is well-adapted to regions with short seasons or cool summers.
Ready for harvest at around 80 days from transplant.
Standard packet contains approx. 25 seeds
Petite packet contains approx. 10 seeds
