Solanum lycopersicum
Named after the famed chef Julia Child and introduced to the gardening world by TomatoFest in California. This is described as a "not-for-sissies" tomato that is chock-a-block with real old-school tomato flavour. We have grown this variety for many years and wholeheartedly agree. These large, robust, lightly fluted, beefsteak-type fruits have earned their name.
