Lactuca sativa
A buttery-flavoured Romaine-type. This loose-heading variety can be picked as a loose-leaf lettuce or you can wait and harvest the whole head in one go. Its texture is somewhat similar to butterhead, also making it a great variety for baby leaf production. The leaves are a lovely size for wraps and are scrumptious on sandwiches and in salads.
High bolt/heat resistance.
Ready for harvest at 50+ days.
Standard packet contains approx. 300 seeds
