A premium fennel variety grown throughout Europe for its large rounded bulbs. The brilliant white bulbs are delicious harvested young and can be roasted whole or can be finely sliced and added to stir-fry. The stalks are thick and crisp and are also well suited to a light frying.
Leave a couple of plants to go to seed for a strong, aromatic seed for use in baking and as a cooking spice.
Although mostly grown for its outstanding bulb, the stalks and leaves can also be used.
Ready for harvest around 80 days.
