Cucumis anguria
Exceedingly productive, rampant plants, that produce tons of small 5-6cm spiky cucumbers. They can be used at any age, we love dropping handfuls of the tiny young fruits into a green salad. Like that they make for great conversation. As mature cucumbers they are a tad spiky and you will need to peel them, but the flesh has a stunning, faint lemony taste.
