Phaseolus vulgarus
A great old Dutch heirloom. This has been regarded for many years by the Dutch as the best tasting dry bean. Bred from bean selections going as far back as the late 1500's, this is indeed a bean with a real history. Lovely white beans with a distinctive flavour and mouthfeel.
