Solanum lycopersicum
A Russian heirloom bred by hobby gardener Valentina Petrovna Kruglova and found at The Bird Market in Moscow. "Azoychka" is a Russian Jewish female nickname meaning "comfort" – and boy, does this tomato live up to its comfort-food reputation!
It's a highly productive early-season beefsteak variety, with yellow-orange, smooth, and slightly flattened fruits. The flesh is meaty and has a sweet and tangy flavour, making for an excellent all-rounder tomato. Can be grown in both coastal and inland regions.
Ready for harvest in 75 days after transplant.
Standard packet contains approx. 25 seeds
Petite packet contains approx. 10 seeds
