Eriocephalus africanus

Bushy evergreen shrubs with grey foliage that reflects sunlight. The leaves have silver hairs that trap moisture making it a water wise plant. The leaves have a Vicks scent when crushed.

This variety is mostly found in the Western and Eastern Cape as well as the Namaqaland district.

The plant requires full sun and well drained soil. The plant is also fairly hardy and will adapt to most gardens in South Africa.
