Solanum lycopersicum
A beautiful French heirloom dating back to the 1960s, RAF tomato gets its name because of its "resiste à Fusarium" – resistance to Fusarium wilt. This variety is also well known for its exceptionally high antioxidant count. For this reason, it has been touted as one of the healthiest tomato varieties.
Though once commercially grown in Europe, this beefsteak is now sought after and cherished by home gardeners for its unique visual appeal, and tangy and fruity flavour reminiscent of Marmande.
Ready for harvest in 90 days after transplant.
